The Constellation was a four masted schooner of 1034 tons. It measured 187 feet in length, had a beam of 38 feet, and a depth of 18 feet 3 inches. The ship served as a transport vessel in the Croweel and Thurlow coastal fleet from 1922-1932. In 1932, the ship was bout by Robert L. Royall and renamed the Constellation. He converted the Constellation into a nautical school, but the venture failed, and he sold the ship. In 1942, the American Intercontinental Steamship Company.
