Thomas Wade Hall is a Graduate Student at East Carolina in Greenville, NC, who is currently working on a Masters Degree in Public History. He graduated from his college Undergraduate at Augusta University in Augusta, GA, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Sciences with a Major in History and a Minor in Anthropology. His main interests are twentieth century Maritime History, specifically that time period’s most infamous shipwrecks. These wrecks include but are not exclusive to: R.M.S. Lusitania; R.M.S. Empress of Ireland; H.M.H.S. Britannic; S.S. Andrea Doria; H.V. Wilhelm Gustloff; S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald; U.S.S. Yorktown (CV-5); U.S.S. Arizona; the German Battleship Bismarck; the Japanese Submarine I-52; S.S. Central America; and above all, the R.M.S. Titanic. His main goal is to work in a Maritime History Museum (especially one involving one or some of these shipwrecks (above all, one involving the Titanic), and hopefully be invited on future expeditions to these wreck sites (once again, especially the Titanic wreck site). Mr. Hall is also interested in certain aspects of American History, such as the U.S. Presidents, American Revolution and Civil War, and World War II. His hobbies include watching movies on historical events, especially on the anniversary of the date they took place or celebrated (Examples: Passion of the Christ and certain episodes of the History Channel miniseries The Bible on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; James Cameron’s Titanic on April 14-15/ April 14 or April 15; Saving Private Ryan on June 6, The Patriot on July 4; Flight 93, World Trade Center, or United 93 on September 11; Parkland on November 22; Tora! Tora! Tora! or Michael Bay’s Pearl Harbor on December 7; and The Nativity Story and an episode of The Bible on Christmas Day). He is also a Presbyterian Christian. His other hobbies include watching historical documentaries; watching other forms of television shows and movies; playing certain types of video games; reading the Bible and Biblical devotions; and reading books on historical events and figures (especially when school is not in session and he has more free time). Thomas also has some disabilities such as symptoms of Asperger’s Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Autism, and AD/HD.
