In March of 2023, our design team, which includes Dr. Laura Levi Altstaedter, Dr. Mauro Falasca, Lily Johnson, and two undergraduate students, Nina Carrillo-Corujo and Julia Kohake, traveled to Antigua, Guatemala, to attend the SECOLAS (South Eastern Council of Latin American Studies) and present the Digital Buenos Aires 2022 Digital Humanities Project.
Our undergraduate students attended this conference with their expenses paid through grants and other funding offered by our institution. So, in addition to the research they completed, these undergraduate students also completed proposals for grants and conferences and organized their travel details, all while completing the work required of them as full-time students!
