At a Glance: Malkin is a nationally recognized expert in gambling behavior and addiction and the risks, prevalence and societal impacts of problem gambling. She can also discuss gambling-motivated crime, how addiction can lead to criminal activity, and alternative courts and diversion programs designed to rehabilitate non-violent gambling-addicted offenders. Malkin created and patented the Gambling-Motivated Crime Diversion Checklist and is the co-creator of the Emerging Adult Gambling Screen.
