Casey Bissette Intro

Hey Everyone,

My name is Casey Bissette I earned my BSBA in Marketing degree in 2013 from ECU. The first six years of my professional life I spent in outside sales for Cisco, BB&T and Southern Glaziers two years each then ventured into the healthcare system working as a Nurse Tech in the Emergency Department the last four years. Woking in various roles and industries I have learned a lot from how business to business sales work and how the healthcare system manages a department day to day. After seeing the health system on the “working” floor level I knew I wanted to set myself up to learn and tackle the issues at hand in healthcare today. Once I knew this is what I wanted to do I applied to the ECU MBA program with Healthcare administration certificate. I hope to learn how healthcare is viewed from a management stand point more in depth as well as how the healthcare money is allocated within the government and organizations. In my free time I like to trail walk, hunt, fish, enjoy nature and play video games. I look forward to talking to everyone online this semester, let’s have some fun and learn how to set up a better future for patients in the healthcare system.
