On September 4, 2018, research team members presented at the bi-monthly Pitt County Board of Education meeting. Dr. Swaggerty, Dr. Anderson, and Dr. Atkinson shared information about Imagination Library, Pitt County’s progress in enrolling all children ages 0-5 in the county, and research results thus far. The research team provided all board members with handouts summarizing research activities, research results, and progress in Pitt County. The presentation emphasized reading to children every day, enrolling children in Imagination Library from all areas of Pitt County, and how the research team and school system can continue working together in the future.
