The Beaufort Maritime Museum is one of the three maritime museums under the direction of North Carolina’s Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. Visitors of all ages can come and enjoy learning about North Carolina’s maritime past. Interactive exhibits center on cultural history of topics such as fishing, surfing, and pirates. This is the only museum with artifacts from Blackbeard’s flagship Queen Anne’s Revenge which has a planned expansion in 2018.
