ABOUT THE MARGARET BLOUNT HARVEY INSTITUTE

Made possible through the generosity of the late Felix and Margaret Harvey and their daughters, the MARGARET BLOUNT HARVEY LITERACY INSTITUTE promotes literacy leadership and advocacy through a series of on going professional development seminars and events designed to support public school educators, higher education faculty, and East Carolina University (ECU) students. Additionally, the Institute supports sessions for ECU students who are preparing for the Foundations of Reading Test.
