IT Student Wins Diane Kester Innovator Award

Katherine Collins, a student in our MAEd Instructional Technology program, receives the Diane Kester Innovator Award.  She was nominated for this award through one of her instructors since her work demonstrated  innovation and creativity with the use of technology in the classroom. Other IT faculty who have taught Katherine (Kat) agree, “She is constantly present in her online work, a dedicated student who is not only engaged in  her classwork but energizes her classmates as well.”

Katherine  is currently a Digital Learning and Teaching Coach in Onslow County working at Clyde Erwin Elementary Magnet School and Bell Fork Elementary.

Congratulations, Katherine!
