Dr. Jason Pudlow of the Dept. of Political Science was selected as a Fulbright Scholar for a research exchange in Canada as part of the 2026-2027 cohort. He will spend January 2027 through May 2027 at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada, studying disaster relief and recovery by faith-based organizations in rural communities. The research will create a taxonomy of recovery and resilience strategies used by local faith communities and will contribute to a growing body of comparative public administration disaster studies by comparing practices between the United States and Canada.
