During early February 2022, Staff Archaeologist, Jeremy Borelli worked with students outdoors adjacent to Eller House to photograph and video a canoe borrowed from ECU’s Adventure Center. Students took turns taking a continuous video of the canoe, circling the canoe at different angles (low, mid, high, and bird’s-eye). Jeremy then brought the students into Eller’s computer lab where they learned to load the footage into Metashape and create their own 3D photogrammetric models.
