Dr. Stephanie Richards receives funding amounting to $45,000 from Bayer Crop Science to conduct two research studies. The studies will examine the effectiveness of barrier sprays in controlling mosquito populations in a suburban environment, and the mosquito susceptibility to various active ingredients found insecticides at a nationwide level. The findings of these studies will be beneficial in mosquito population control and, ultimately, in reducing the risk of mosquito-borne diseases.
