Dr. Stephanie Richards was awarded a public health entomologist contract from North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) for $35,200. Dr. Richards will consult with local mosquito control personnel and conduct public outreach activities related to current and emerging issues with vector borne diseases in NC. She will lead assessments of insecticide susceptibility testing and Zika virus testing for NC mosquitoes.
