BS Environmental Health student, Rene Vanek, was selected to be awarded the Fall 2016 Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (URCA) award for her research proposal on the assessment of volatile organic compound (VOC) exposure during 3D printing operations. Dr. Jo Anne Balanay serves as her faculty mentor, and Mr. Ogaga Tebehaevu as her co-mentor. Rene’s proposal is one of the 34 selected for funding out of the 118 completed applications received. Her project will be funded at $1,875, including a stipend of $1000. Congratulations, Rene!
