BS/MS Environmental Health Alumnus Attended Medical Symposium in Thailand

BS/MS Environmental Health alumnus, Lt. Michael Bowe-Rahming, attended the Cobra Gold 2017 Medical Symposium on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief that was held from February, 20-23, 2017 in Korat, Thailand. The symposium featured guest speakers and a table-top exercise, wherein doctors, chaplains, emergency response personnel and other professionals shared about disaster response and humanitarian assistance.  Nine countries participated in the event, including the U.S., China, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Lt. Bowe-Rahming graduated from the BSEH program in 2009 and from the MSEH program in 2013.  He is an Environmental Health Officer in the U.S. Navy and is currently assigned in Hawaii.
