The American Public Health Association (APHA) Press released the “Environmental Public Health: The Practitioner’s Guide”, in which the Environmental Health faculty contributed as authors for the following book chapters:
Dr. Stephanie Richards – Pests and Vector Control (Chapter 14)
Dr. Charles Humphrey – Safe Drinking Water (Chapter 15) and Wastewater Disposal and Septic Systems (Chapter 16)
Dr. Tim Kelley – Solid and Hazardous Waste (Chapter 18)
Dr. Jo Anne Balanay -Noise and the Environment (Chapter 24)
Dr. Paul Knechtges (EH part-time faculty) and Dr. Greg Kearney (Department of Public Health faculty) served as two of the three editors of the book. This book was 3 years in the making and is now expected to provide a solid foundation to educate students, practitioners, and policy makers about the field of environmental health.
