MS Environmental Health student, Constantine Unanka, was selected for the National Environmental Public Health Internship Program (NEPHIP) Class of Summer 2019. The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) administers NEPHIP with funding from CDC Environmental Health Services Branch. Constantine has been assigned at the Loudoun County Health Department, Loudoun, VA. He will be awarded a stipend of $6,000 to complete a 10-week internship this summer from mid-June to mid-August, with an additional relocation stipend.  The purpose of NEPHIP is to encourage environmental health students to consider careers at local, state, or tribal environmental public health departments following graduation. Through this internship program, students will be exposed to exciting career opportunities, benefits, and challenges of working with environmental public health agencies throughout the U.S. More about NEPHIP at the NEHA website.
