MS Environmental Health alumna (’13), Katie del Rosario, was featured in the “HHP Alumni Spotlight” of the College of Health and Human Performance. Katie currently works at the USDA Food and Nutrition Service’s Office of Food Safety as a food safety specialist. In the article, Katie shared how her Peace Corps experience in the Philippines lead her to appreciate the effects of the physical environment on human health. She advised students to find the topic they are passionate about and completely immerse in it.
