Dr. Jo Anne Balanay gave 2 presentations today during the virtual 2021 American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce) held from May 24-26, 2021. Her oral presentation was titled, “Comparison between OSHA-NIOSH Heat Safety Tool App and WBGT Monitor to Assess Heat Stress Risk in Agriculture” and her poster presentation was titled, “Adsorption Characteristics of Activated Carbon Fibers in Respirator Cartridges for Toluene”.

AIHce is the annual conference of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) that has focused on the important trends, needs, research, technologies, training, and connections that make professionals responsible for the safety, health and environment of workplaces more efficient in their pursuit of protecting worker health.
