Dr. Stephanie Richards presented today about mosquito insecticide resistance at the Brunswick County Mosquito Control Program’s Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) Calibration Workshop in Bolivia, NC. Her presentation was titled, “Selecting Products for Adulticide Applications: A Discussion of Testing Resistance for Both Pest and Disease Mosquitoes”.
Dr. Richards also met with personnel from local mosquito control programs, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) Division of Public Health, NC Department of Agriculture, and private mosquito control industry during the workshop. The workshop is a 2-day training course offered to all mosquito personnel in NC.
