MS Environmental Health (MSEH) alumna, Nana-Obaayaa Owusu (graduated Spring 2022), and MSEH student, Jordan Williams (graduating Summer 2022), attended and presented their posters on their research projects this week from June 28-July 1, 2022 at the NEHA Annual Educational Conference (AEC) at Spokane, Washington. Nana presented her thesis research on solar ultraviolet radiation exposure of outdoor workers during cold months. Jordan presented her thesis research on a novel nano-based antibacterial therapeutic against nosocomial infections.
Both of them were also awarded as 2022 Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs (AEHAP) Student Research Competition winners. Great job for representing our EH Program very well! Congratulations, Jordan and Nana!
