Chad Carwein, ECU’s University Sustainability Manager, talked today to the EHST 2110 and EHST 4350 Environmental Health classes about ECU’s Bee Campus USA classification, some sustainability programs and projects on campus, and more. He also demonstrated an observation honey bee hive and the equipment and tools he uses to handle these hives. After the presentation, the students had the opportunity to observe the bee hive up close, taste some honey samples, and try on bee handling equipment.
