What: MIE ADR-1500 Area Particulate Monitor

Where: Behind the track on ECU Athletic campus
How is it related to air pollution: This monitor is part of the Aerosol Research Laboratory and is involved in a research study on “Fall season environmental evaluation of low-cost aerosol sensors compared to reference instrument”. It monitors the air quality of this area of Greenville and makes sure it is in a safe range. The only time it measured poor air quality was this past summer when the wildfires in Canada brought smoke south.
