The AIHA ECU Student Section had their first field trip today to Biogen, a pharmaceutical company located at the Research Triangle Park, NC.  Dr. Jo Anne Balanay and 9 of the chapter members were accommodated by Biogen to tour their facilities and be introduced to real-life industrial hygiene as applied to pharmaceutical industries.  Special thanks goes to Ms. Mandy Stone CIH, CSP and the rest of the Biogen EHS Team who made this whole-day field trip possible.
