The AIHA ECU Student Section invited Ms. Kimberly Bostic, MS, CSP as a guest speaker from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NC DOL) on March 28, 2017.  Ms. Bostic is an Industrial Hygiene/ Carolina Star Consultant at NC DOL since 2006, and started working at NC DOL as an Industrial Hygiene Compliance Officer since 1995.  In her talk, Ms. Bostic described her role in the Carolina Star Program, which provides assistance with safety and health management systems and programs to participating private employers and state/ local governments.  She also gave some helpful tips to the students, specially the graduating seniors, on job search and interviews, and answered their questions on issues related to industrial hygiene and safety.
