BS Environmental Health Students Go on a Field Trip for Air Pollution Course 2017

BS Environmental Health students and Dr. Jo Anne Balanay (course instructor) went on a field trip today to the ECU Health Sciences Campus to observe various air pollution control and air handling equipment.  The field trip was coordinated by Mr. Eddie Johnson, an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional from the Office of Prospective Health at ECU.  The students visited several areas on campus, including the air handling system at the Laupus Library, the boiler facility that services many buildings in the ECU Brody School of Medicine, the cooling tower, and the air filtration system that services the animal facilities.  This activity was part of the EHST 3600 Air Pollution course.
