Dr. Stephanie Richards serves as the mentor of BS Public Health Honors College student, Deryn Smith, who won an ECU Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (URCA) Award for Fall 2018.  Deryn will be conducting a project on insecticide resistance in mosquitoes, which will be funded at $2,000 (including a stipend of $1300 and $700 for supplies).
