Dr. Jo Anne Balanay was appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor in , non-tenure earning, in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS), School of Public Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). This is a 5-year appointment effective May 1, 2018.  This appointment makes Dr. Balanay formally affiliated with the
UAB Environmental Health Sciences Department, which will enable her to build research collaborations with EHS faculty as well as to serve on the thesis committee of EHS
graduate students.
