These supplemental scholarships were designed to enrich the graduate student experience by providing financial support for specialty books for relevant classes, travel to professional and/or scientific meetings or workshops, publication costs for manuscripts. These scholarships were open to graduate students in the fields of Agromedicine and Toxicological Sciences from East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, North Carolina A&T State University and the North Carolina Agromedicine Institute.
