Dr. Jo Anne Balanay presented her research titled “Adsorption Characteristics of Activated Carbon Fibers in Respirator Cartridges for Toluene” at the AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Conference) Carolinas Spring Conference 2019 at Concord, NC on March 8, 2019. The main purpose of her presented research was to determine the breakthrough and adsorption capacity of activated carbon fibers (ACFs) as adsorbent materials for respiratory protection.
