Dr. Humprey Presents at the 2019 WRRI Conference

Dr. Charles Humphrey presented his research titled “Review of Phosphate Treatment by 32 Onsite Wastewater Systems in Eastern North Carolina” at the 2019 NC Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI) Annual Conference held at NC State University, Raleigh, NC from March 21-22, 2019. Mr. Guy Iverson, Coastal Resource Management doctoral candidate, also presented his research titled “Best management practices to enhance nutrient attenuation of wastewater-derived nutrients in the Falls Lake watershed”.

The WRRI conference yearly brings together various sectors and disciplines working in water resources across North Carolina, including academe, students, consultants, water utilities, non-profit organizations and state agencies. A broad range of work across diverse fields covered in the conference includes stream restoration, water supply planning, stormwater management, hydrology, and community engagement.
