DrPH EOH student, Danielle Carter, presented her research project today on heat stress and ultraviolet (UV) radiation exposure in agriculture during the agricultural pesticide applicator training offered by the Pitt County Cooperative Extension in Greenville, NC. Danielle explained the objectives of her research and provided tips on how to prevent heat-related and UV-related illnesses and injuries.
