Dr. Charles Humphrey and Dr. Guy Iverson attended the Soil Science Society of America Annual Conference from November 10-13, 2019 at San Antonio, TX. Dr. Humphrey presented an oral talk titled “Comparison of Soil-Based Treatment of Nutrients and Bacteria by Three Onsite Wastewater Systems in Eastern North Carolina” and a poster titled “Groundwater Fluctuations Beneath Three Onsite Wastewater Systems in North Carolina in Response to Hurricane Florence”.  Dr. Iverson presented an oral talk titled “Attenuation of Wastewater-Derived Nitrogen Using Natural and Nature-Based Features in the North Carolina Piedmont” and a poster titled “Evaluation of Phosphorus and Microbe Treatment of an in-Stream Bioreactor and a Natural Wetland in the North Carolina Piedmont.”
