Dr. Charles Humphrey gave a podium presentation today during the 2020 Rural Health Symposium held from February 26-28, 2020 at the Education Center at Eastern AHEC in Greenville, NC. His presentation titled “Challenges with Treatment of Traditional and Emerging Contaminants by Wastewater Systems in Eastern North Carolina” was part of the afternoon breakout sessions.
The 2020 Rural Health Symposium focused on innovative and collaborative efforts to provide better care to areas with limited resources, exploring community, business and leadership models. The symposium was jointly provided by the Office of Continuing Medical Education of the ECU Brody School of Medicine, ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation, ECU College of Education, ECU College of Nursing, NC Agromedicine Institute, UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Triangle Healthcare Executives’ Forum of NC (THEF) and Vidant Health in association with the Eastern Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
