BS Environmental Health Students Work on E-Cigarette Exposure Study

BS Environmental Health (BSEH) students, Meaghan Haley and Will Shingleton, work on an NIH-funded project and measure secondhand e-cigarette (e-cig) exposure inside a controlled exposure chamber in Dr. Sinan Sousan’s Aerosol Laboratory at ECU Belk Building. This semester, Meaghan and Will are generating e-cig exposure using Juul and Box mode. In Fall 2021, they will be measuring e-cig secondhand exposure inside vehicles.
