Heidi Knecht, a Doctor of Public Health – Environmental and Occupational Health (DrPH-EOH) candidate, successfully defended today her dissertation titled, “Retrospective Risk Assessment of Forestry Workers in the U.S.: Injuries, Fatalities and Hazards Impacting Occupational Health”. Dr. Stephanie Richards (ECU Environmental Health [EH] Professor) serves as her dissertation committee chair. Her other committee members are Dr. Jo Anne Balanay (ECU EH Program), Dr. Robin Tutor-Marcom (NC Agromedicine) and Dr. Rick Langley (NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), retired).
