BS Environmental Health Students Go on a Field Trip for Air Pollution Course 2022

BS Environmental Health students and Dr. Jo Anne Balanay (course instructor) went on a field trip today to the ECU Health Sciences Campus to observe various air pollution control and air handling equipment.  The field trip was led by Mr. Mike Rowe, Assistant Director of ECU Facilities Maintenance – Health Sciences Campus, and was coordinated by Ms. Kelly Shook, Health Sciences Coordinator at ECU Office of Environmental Health and Safety. The students visited several areas on campus, including the air handling systems above the Laupus Library building, boiler room, and emergency power generator. This activity was part of the EHST 3600 Air Pollution course.
