Mr. William Hill hosted today 30 environmental health specialists who were in the final phase of being authorized agents of the state of North Carolina to enforce sanitation laws and regulations. They completed the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) exam and interview sessions. The REHS/RS is the predominant credential in the field. Professionals who hold this credential demonstrate competency in an impressive range of environmental health topics including vector control, water quality, hazardous materials, air quality, built environment, direct and train personnel to respond to routine or emergency environmental situations, and provide education to their communities. We are thankful for the support that Mr. Hill offers the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and these professionals as they advance in their careers.
