Dr. Jo Anne Balanay was featured in the ECU HHP News for her 2 most recently funded research projects that focused on web-based and mobile applications as alternative risk assessment tools for heat stress exposure among outdoor workers. Dr. Balanay serves as the Principal Investigator for both awards. She is working with Bridget Angol (MS Environmental Health student) in the 1st award and with Dr. Sinan Sousan (Assistant Professor, ECU Department of Public Health) in the 2nd award.
