The link provided leads to an article which describes the invention of an anti-rape device.
The device is a “female condom” with angled teeth lining the inside. It was invented by a South-African doctor after she treated a rape victim. The article describes how the anti-rape device works. This article is from 2010 and states that at that time they were being distributed to local women. Some people feel that it is a medieval an inhuman device based on other online descriptions I have read concerning the device. But how about the inhumane act forced on the women?
If being distributed by non-profit and health field individuals it’s great in my opinion. However, on one site I read that it would cost .50. For poor areas that can be a high price for non-reusable item when wages may be 3.00 or less per day.
