One recurring theme over the course of this class has been the issue of a women’s freedom of there own bodies. One way that this freedom is being impeded in the U.S is in the attack on abortion rights set forth in Roe Vs. Wade. In Arkansas we see a state that is attempting to pass legislation further restricting a women’s right to have control of their own bodies. In what appears to be a blatant disregard of Roe Vs. Wade, Arkansas is attempting to add further restrictions to a women’s right of choice. We read about the harsh and oppressive cultures surrounding the world, but what of a equally oppressive practice of attempting to regulate a women’s choice being put forth in the U.S?
