FINALLY! We have a president who declares the ban of gay marriage unconstitutional! This is a sign of progress, as was the President’s interview with ABC News correspondent George Stephonopolis wherein he declared his active leadership of an administration working for the quality of all individuals.This is visible through their reluctance to claim DOMA constitutional, and the brief presented to the Supreme Court arguing the California ban on gay marriage, unconstitutional. I imagine this forward movement must feel (for homosexuals) parallel to the moments leading up to a win for justice in Loving vs. Virginia, or the Voting Rights Act.
