What’s up guys, my name as mentioned above is Addison Hill. I am a rising senior studying sociology and criminal justice. The basis of my analysis regarding social issues is primarily from a critical conflict paradigm. I am interested in the plight of black Americans and the policies and structures that function to disenfranchise and marginalize us; I’m also black lol. I look forward to also learning about the plight of other marginalized groups as my male, cisgender privilege, often allows me to ignore the struggles of other groups. I have always contended that one cannot proclaim themselves as pro-black while aligning themselves with transphobic and homophobic ideals.
