This article talks about the harassment of women and even young women in high school. These women went as far as deleting social media apps to avoid those situations. One part in the article talked about how they did not feel comfortable addressing the situation or reporting it as well because they felt like they did not have the power to change it. It is quite sad that women have to avoid these situations by doing such things. Also that they think that certain way. I am happy that they came out with the #METoo movement so more women can report it and not be afraid to share their stories. There comes a double standard with men and women. Men are rewarded for their sexual aggression. My question is why is it acceptable and rewarded for men but women are shamed?
