In the article Lori Sokol talks about equal pay for women. In our society today women are paid only 80 cents for every dollar paid to men. She starts off with a statement her mother once told her, “Don’t do anything to make the men in your life look bad”, her mother always taught to never be better at anything than her brother and to never make more money than her father. I do not agree with this. I believe in equality, women should get paid the same amount that men do when doing the same job.
