This article was written yesterday, Valentine’s Day. It is about raising awareness to gender based violence on the campus of Queen’s University. I thought that it was a great article to read because it shows that people are interested in finding ways to fix the problem. On Valentine’s Day they posted red posters all over campus to not only educate and bring awareness to issues such as jealousy and domestic violence, but to also encourage people to speak out if they were in volatile relationships! What do you think of their efforts? Do you think that it is a good way to get the attention of college students?
