I wish to research human trafficking dealing with boys because they are an understudied but not under represented population among human trafficking. This article brings to light that human trafficking generally refers to woman and girls, however in certain rings of trafficking circles boys bring up the vast majority of victims. My question for this and all of my research is why we don’t automatically add boys into the picture of what we think about when it comes to these horrible crimes and why did it take so long for us to add boys into the picture?
