During Stanfords traditional Wacky Walk students held up signs of protest to show solidarity with one of their fellow classmates. Having only a six month sentence Brock Turner made many people around the world angry. Turner’s victim wrote and released a statement to the judge which has been read aloud by many newscasters. Because of his “promising future” many people tried to support him and show how he was an innocent man that with jail time his life would be ruined. This shows when you come from the right family and look the right way then you are able to get out of the most heinous crimes.
