Overview: In Istanbul a man saw a 23 year old nurse on a bus wearing shorts and proceeded to kick her in the face. The reasoning behind this was because he said it was against his religion and the spiritual side came out of him. He stated that she had “no right to live”. He is now being sentenced to 3 years and 10 months in jail for preventing the practice of freedom of faith, thought, and opinion.
