On June 27, the Supreme Court ruled to keep open reproductive health clinics in Texas that provide abortions. The abortion law previously had shut down half of the 40 clinics throughout the state. If the they hadn’t ruled against it the number was expected to drop to 10. This ruling hopes to weaken the restrictions set in 26 other states. While this has stirred up negative reactions millions of women are beyond ecstatic with this ruling. Women have the right to safe abortions and have a right to their own bodies.
